Kitty's Chemise, an Austen inspired design, has recently seen a revamp with new photography and layout. The pattern is now available on Ravelry and LoveKnitting.com

Kitty's Chemise begins at the hem and is knitted in the round, up. There is some waist shaping running along the alternating stocking stitch panels, followed by cute little sleeves with raglan shaping and finally a bit of an I-cord to perfectly finish the neckline and sleeve caps.

  • Difficulty Intermediate – Knitting in the round, increases and decreases, I-cord cast off and simple finishing.
  • Measurements 32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46) in / 80 (85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115) cm bust circumference. Tee shown measures 34 in modeled with 2 in of negative ease.
  • Gauge 20 sts and 26 rnds = 4 in / 10 cm in stocking stitch.
  • Needles & Notions Size 4 mm (US 6) 24 in / 60 cm (or longer) circular needle and double pointed needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. Markers, stitch holders and yarn needle.

The sample was knitted in Classic Elite Yarns - Classic Silk, that's a light cotton-silk-nylon blend.
