Worked from the centre out, Polka dot shawl is shaped through evenly spaced increases that, simultaneously, create its pattern. The shawl wings are drawn out with short rows once the full depth has been reached and then the long edge is finished with short row garter edging worked in short rows.

Yarn: 2 balls of JC Rennie Supersoft 4ply. Substitute with approximately 525 yards (480 m) of Fingering weight yarn.
Gauge: 16 stitches and 23 rows = 4 inches in Stocking stitch
