Description

This simple vest is nitted in one piece from bottom up with button-band and armhole trims being knitted on after the waist coat is finished.

Finished bust circumference: 32 (33 ½, 35, 38, 39 ½) 41 ¼, 44 ¼, 45 ¾, 47 ¼ in / 81.5 (85, 89, 96.5, 100.5) 105, 112.5, 116, 120 cm chest circumference.
Sample shown is in size 32 with no ease.

Yarn: Approximately 400 (430, 460, 480, 510) [530, 560, 580, 610] meters / 440 (470, 500, 530, 560) [580, 610, 640, 670] yards of any yarn in DK weight which knits to the specified gauge. I advise using pure wool for this project in order to get the same fit. Sample done in Natural Shetland DK approximately 124 meters / 50g skein by Woodpark Rare Breeds Yarns.

Gauge: 21 sts and 32 rows = 4 in / 10 cm over Stocking stitch

Needles and notions: Size 4 mm (US6) circular needle and a set of double pointed needles of the same size or size required to obtain correct gauge.
2 Stitch markers, tapestry needle.
