With a raglan sleeve, a bit of polka-dot texture and a top down construction, Peppered is as friendly as they come.
It's knitted from the top down, in the round and once the yoke portion has been completed, it is divided into the body and sleeves’ portions to be completed seamlessly again.
The sleeves' stitch pattern is achieved by working a double yarn over that creates a really well defined eyelet. They are very easy to work and the full instructions are given in the pattern, but there is also a tutorial on my website for multiple yarn overs if you wish to check it out. The body is shaped at waist with princess style decreases/increases for a tailored look.
I used Debbie Bliss Mia in the sample; it is a slightly heavier DK yarn than usual and a plump DK or a light worsted weight would work great here as a substitution.
