COTSWOLD jumper was originally published in The Knitter just over a year ago and I am very pleased to let you know that it is now available as a PDF download on Ravelry and LoveKnitting.com
Cotswold is worked in the round from hem to the armholes, where the sleeves are joined with the body for the raglan yoke. There are some short rows that are worked straight after the hem to add a bit of length to the lower centre back.
It's yoke is worked back and forth to raise the back neck of the sweater – this lot is not quite done as a set of short rows but the idea is very similar – as you shape just the one portion of the garment the rows get shorter and some length is added to raise the back neck.
The pattern is knitted in Malabrigo Worsted, a soft single-ply yarn, which knits up fast at 18 stitches over 4 inches.
Both, short row and grafting instructions are included in the pattern.
