The spring is finally here. Still wet, still windy, but the gusts are warmer and most noticeably, the days are long once again. I'm loving gardening at the moment. We've been in this house for two years and a bit and it's finally getting to that stage of a well orchestrated play. I'm planting veggies in between perennials to make the borders fuller for the summer while the plants are getting to their full size and there's space around them. Most of it is fun. Some needs noting for the future, like not to plant different types of garlic in the same bed with alliums. I'm hoping they'll look different enough come harvest.
While spring cleaning my room, a few days ago, I came across a bunch of ends left over from finishing all the projects for a very exciting new adventure that stemmed from Boys' Knits. I get excited even anticipating this book coming out, can't wait for you guys to see it. There are rich colours and fun knitting and of course more happy kids' photos. I've seen the beginning of the blueprint and it looks every bit as beautiful as the first one.
