I've got a number of designs waiting to be shared this October and I think each one deserves a separate announcement. I am also releasing two patterns, Greengage and Chesnok, with the first one already available. And while I am finalising the second pattern I thought I'd indulge myself in a little yarn giveaway. The hat is knit in light and drapey Manos Serena, a mix of baby alpaca and pima cotton.
The pattern - Greengage is a lightweight slouchy beanie with a gently gathered crown. It is worked in the round from the brim up with a seed stitch diamond pattern set on the stocking stitch ground.
To fit head circumference - 18 (19 ½, 20 ½, 22, 23 ½) in / 45.5 (49.5, 52, 56.5, 59.5) cm
Finished size - brim circumference 16 (17 ¼, 18 ¾, 20, 21 ¼) in / 40.5 (44, 47.5, 51, 54) cm.Yarn - 1 skein of Serena, Manos del Uruguay (60% Baby Alpaca, 40% Pima Cotton, 170 yds / 155 m) #2020.
To enter you would need to buy the pattern and leave a means of contacting you either here or on Ravelry. The winner will receive a skein of Manos Serena in Swallow-tail #2020 to make the hat. I will pick a winner at random on Monday, 8 October and send the skein of this soft goodness your way.
All the lovely people that already have purchased the pattern will be entered the giveaway automatically.
** that has been in the plans for over a year :S
