Sedna in Yarn Forward Mag

My new pattern Sedna is in the Nov 2008 issue of YF. Top down, aran weight with lots of cabling; I really enjoyed knitting it and love the result. The hem is knitted separately and is attached to the body at the end. It's done in Mirasol Miski which is an Aran weight baby llama and was a pleasure to knit with and is great for cabling, this is not to say that you can't use any other Aran weight yarn! I also want to add that even though there is lots of cabling it took only 10 days to finish. The pattern comes in 7 sizes to fit bust size 28 through 52 with 4 inch increments and takes about 12 to 21 hanks of Miski which is about 950 to 1970 yards.
Here are some detailed photos that Kerrie sent me today.

  1. This sweater is absolutely wonderful. The color is rich, the cables look interesting, and the yarn looks like it is lightweight. It will be fun to knit.
